You negleted to include the $699 M1 MBA at Walmart. Great deal. Now for what you said about the M3 MBA display. Connecting it to a dock gives you almost everything and more than a MacBook Pro. If you're using multiple displays then you're at a desk so a dock is really a good addition. They're dropping in price as well. Bought a Thunderbolt 4 one on Ebay for $60.

those chips M1-M3 are of no great importance neither to a professional nor to ordinary people. It is not the individual chip model that decides the whole, and they are built the same way, but only nominal differences have been made to them. Nowadays, the speed of a computer meets quality requirements. It all depends on what I need and how to use the machine, but I don't recommend buying the most expensive one. I have bought a Macbook air 15 inch M2 and a Macbook air 13 M1 and a Macbook pro M3 16. To be honest, I don't notice anything so special in the speed in normal use when I have that Macbook air, but what affects is the amount of memory and the amount of RAM memory. The efficiency and the screen are of the same quality, but of course a bigger power and a bigger screen feel nice, but I can't say that it would be significantly better. thank you

Advice please: I run a 2020 M1 mac mini 16GB HD and 32"BENQ Screen. The main use is Audio Recording using Bitwig Software which only works on OS and not IOS. I need to move to a Laptop for live portability and sell the mini. I would like to know what my minimum option is, possibly an M1 or should I consider going for a M3 for resale. I need I screen port and at least 16 GB ram. Thanks for the great channel.

Apple made those M1 MacBook Airs way too good for their price point. They realize the "mistake" they made and now moving forward are changing their approach to their product rollouts: most expensive Macs first trickling down to the least expensive.

By my maths that is actually closer to 64% faster gpu bench. I think what you’ve done there is divided the higher by the lower which gives a different ratio - * 100 you are getting that % of performance that the surface is of the iPad Pro, which is different to how much more powerful B is than A.

I recently picked up an open box M3 Pro 14in for about $1500 from Best Buy. It was listed as fair w/major scratches. Upon inspection, there were absolutely no scratches or blemishes. I picked it up and it was totally dead. But after charging I checked the battery and capacity is 100% and it had less than 10 charge cycles. At that price it was a no brainer vs the Air w/16GB and 512GB ssd

I love my M1 Max. To me it is peak laptop and still way overpowered for the light video editing and office work I do. I got it at haft price on Black Friday and believe I will have it for 5-10 years.

I'd argue Apple Silicon offers superior performance currently to Snapdragon X Elite, on par with current Intel and AMD offerings. We will see how M4 Apple Silicon models stack up against Intel Arrow Lake and AMD Zen 5 offerings by the end of 2024.

I also much prefer the flatscreen in the Ultra.

I think the next step would be 360 degree bendable MacBook because with the actual Macbooks today the screen looks quite annoying while using it with Vision Pro and Apple would still want to sell a whole Mac instead of just a keyboard. Hopefully the screen then gets touch.

After getting my hands on both (Bestbuy), and looking at accessories available, and factoring real world use case. Im going ipad Pro 12.9. Keyboard case by Logitecg, and Apple Pencil just offered me more than a MacBook. The 120hz screen, and Face ID sold me. Macbook just isnt thier yet for me, especially factoring cost vs features, or lack of. Folks, thier is damn near a app for everything in 2024, and will only get better . . .Go iPad

September last year I bought a brand new MacBook Pro 16" - M1 Max 10C CPU & 32C GPU - 64GB - 1TB -SSD 140W - Silver Paid 3299,00 Euro (that includes all taxes) Say what you want, that still a great deal today, lotta bang for ya buck Same money buys you a Apple M3 Pro Chip mit 12‑Core CPU, 18‑Core GPU, 16‑Core Neural Engine and 18GB of Memory and a 1 TB SSD I think with heavy video editing of batch Photo processing my M1 Max would give tha M3 Pro a neck a neck race, and win on GPU based tasks.
